Welcome to Gladysdale Primary School — a place where children are given the space to learn, play, grow and truly thrive.
We are situated in the beautiful Yarra Valley between Yarra Junction and Powelltown. We have a rich history and strong sense of community. Gladysdale Primary School has been established since 1918 and recently celebrated its Centenary. Our school population is diverse with students travelling from Millgrove, Yarra Junction, Wesburn, Three Bridges and Powelltown.
Our school is proud to offer a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child is known, valued and supported to achieve their very best. Under the leadership of our new principal, Flick Curnow, Gladysdale Primary School is building on its strong foundations while embracing fresh ideas, future-focused learning and a renewed energy for growth.
At the heart of our teaching is a strong focus on literacy and numeracy, ensuring students develop the essential skills they need for lifelong learning and success. Our dedicated staff work closely with each student to provide individualised support, helping every child to feel confident, capable and engaged in their learning journey.
We also believe that a great education extends beyond the classroom. Gladysdale Primary School offers a wide range of enriching specialist programs including Art, Physical Education, Patch to Plate, Performing Arts and Auslan. These opportunities allow students to discover new passions, build creativity, develop confidence and grow as well-rounded learners.
